1. Compared with other pumps of the same type, the diesel engine water pump has the characteristics of long life, high efficiency, reasonable structure, low operating cost, and convenient installation and maintenance. The suction port and discharge port of the diesel engine water pump are both below the axis line of the water pump, and the horizontal direction is perpendicular to the axis line. 3. The pump body and the pump cover constitute the working chamber of the impeller. There are pipe screw holes for installing vacuum gauges and pressure gauges on the water inlet and outlet flanges, and pipe screw holes for water discharge are made on the lower part of the water inlet and outlet flanges. Flanges are made according to GB standards, and can also be made according to ISO, DIN, BS or ANSI standards.
   
4. The hydraulic design of the impeller adopts the most advanced CFD technology, thus improving the hydraulic efficiency of the diesel engine water pump. After the static balance check, the impeller is fixed on the shaft with the sleeve and the sleeve nuts on both sides. Its axial position can be adjusted through the sleeve nut. The axial force of the impeller is balanced by the symmetrical arrangement of its blades. Some remaining axial force is borne by the bearing at the coaxial end.
 
5. The pump shaft of the diesel engine water pump is supported by two sets of rolling bearings and installed at both ends of the pump body. The unique design of the bearing body enables the bearing to be lubricated with grease or thin oil. The design life of the bearing is more than 100,000 hours. Double-row thrust bearings and sealed bearings can also be used. There is a double-suction sealing ring on the pump body, which is easy to disassemble and replace. The diesel engine water pump is directly driven by the electric motor through an elastic pin coupling or a metal laminated coupling. 6. The shaft sleeve of the diesel engine water pump can be made of many different materials to prevent the shaft from being corroded and worn, and the shaft sleeve can be replaced. It is easy to replace, low in maintenance costs, and at the same time ensures the running clearance and high working efficiency.
   
7. The shaft seal of the diesel engine water pump can use packing seal or mechanical seal. Shaft seal cooling flushing water can enter the shaft seal chamber through the groove on the center opening of the pump cover, or enter the shaft seal chamber through an external cooling water pipe. It is not necessary to disassemble the water inlet and outlet pipes and motor during maintenance, which is convenient for maintenance.
